Botox is a purified neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes the small facial muscles responsible for dynamic expression lines — most commonly forehead lines, frown lines between the brows and crow's feet around the eyes. Administered through a series of precisely placed micro-injections, the treatment softens these lines while preserving natural facial movement and expression when performed by an experienced injector. Beyond cosmetic use, Botox is also applied for concerns such as excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis) and jawline slimming through masseter reduction. Results typically begin appearing within three to five days and reach full effect by two weeks, lasting three to four months on average before a touch-up session is recommended.
