Hair PRP therapy draws a small sample of the patient's own blood, processes it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma, and injects this growth-factor-rich solution directly into the scalp at the level of the hair follicles. The concentrated platelets stimulate dormant follicles, improve blood supply to the scalp and extend the growth phase of existing hair, making it particularly effective for early-stage thinning and pattern hair loss. Because the treatment uses the patient's own biological material, there is no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. A course of three to six monthly sessions is generally recommended, followed by periodic maintenance to sustain results.
